Sleeps 4, 2 bedrooms. A delightful traditional stone cottage built in 1877, which was originally as the name states, the Headmasters Cottage, adjoined to the main old school house, now a family home. This Victorian Cottage has retained many of the original features and has been furnished accordingly. It is set in a very pretty and well kept garden with the most superb panoramic views from both the cottage and the garden. With it's sunny terrace, this is a perfect place for an evening drink and to admire the views. This picture postcard cottage sits under Graig Mountain on the Old Roman Way which connects Cross Ash to medieval Grosmont.
Cottage Accommodation
The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge and freezer. There is a downstairs shower room with shower, handbasin, toilet and a washer/dryer. There is a small second quiet sitting room with sofa and chairs. The dining room has antique furniture, dining table, chairs and matching sideboard. French doors lead out to a pretty courtyard. The sitting room is comfortable with two sofas Freeview TV, DVD and an extensive entertainment library and music centre.

Bedroom 1: The Master Bedroom has a super king-size bed which will convert to two large singles if required.
Bedroom 2: has a super king-size bed which will also convert to two large singles if required.
Both bedrooms are lovely with everything guests could need, goose down quilts for the winter and electric blankets.
In keeping with the cottage, the bathroom continues the Victorian theme, with attractive tiles around the bath, a hand held shower, handbasin and toilet.
Useful information
There is one Gastro pub within two minutes drive and the Hunters Moon within three miles.
The owners live next door and is very helpful when needed but otherwise the cottage is completely independent. This cottage is a lovely location for visitors with family in the Abergavenny and Monmouth areas.
Abergavenny and Monmouth 15 minutes, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye 30 minutes and Brecon 35 minutes.
