The barn is set in a unique and secluded location, at the foot of the Black Mountains. Nestling at the end of a 500m private track, it has a dramatic 240 degree view from the Black Mountains to the Brecon Beacons. The stunning glass doors to both sides open onto a charming enclosed garden, with a flagstone terrace, roses and lawns. The woodland around the barn is perfect for exploring. A small stream runs below for paddling and the dramatic waterfall of Pwll-y-Wrach is nearby. The hamlet of Llanelieu has a medieval church with a 14th Century rood screen and painted loft, and the old village stocks outside. It is also the home of Black Mountain Pottery.
