For a restful, relaxing break in wonderful surroundings visit Bailea Stable, recently converted from an original 16th century stable block. The cottage has been furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard with great attention to detail. Enjoy a soak in the Jacuzzi bath after a long day out exploring the hills. On a Summer's day open the French doors from the living room onto to the patio and fire up the BBQ.  Enjoy dinner al fresco from your beautiful farm location and take in the panoramic views over the Usk valley onto the Brecon Beacons and the surrounding hills, Bailea Stable is a perfect base for active exploration of the surrounding unspoilt countryside with walking and cycling from the door.

Fantastic accommodation

Bailea Stable has been furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard. The spacious and very comfortable open plan living area has an oak kitchen with an induction ceramic hob, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer and a kitchen table and chairs. The sitting area has a feature stone fireplace with an oak lintel and wood effect stove with French doors which open out onto a large patio. There are also comfortable cream leather sofas and a TV with DVD. 

Up a flight of wooden stairs to a luxurious and very spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath,

Bedroom 1: large double size shower, heated towel rail, basin and toilet. The bedroom is simply stunning with very high, beamed ceilings, a striking chandelier, and beautifully co-ordinated fabrics on the beds, curtains and upholstery. This room has a quality king size bed, a single bed, and a TV.

There is a separate utility/drying room with a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer, which is shared with Bailea Coach House.

    Explore Bailea Farm and enjoy water from the mountain spring

    Bailea is a family farm producing Farm Assured beef and lamb and is farmed under the Welsh environmental scheme "Tyr Gofal". There is an abundance of wildlife with several Red Kites nesting nearby and a number of badger sets in the area. Pull on your walking boots and explore this idyllic location, the panoramic views are simply breathtaking. Sample not only the Welsh air, but the water as the water supply for both Bailea Stable and Bailea Coach House comes directly from a mountain spring situated on the farm. 

    Flexible accommodation for up to 6 people

    Bailea Stable was converted alongside the old coach house and the owners thoughtfully ensured maximum flexibility for the two properties. Both cottages are suitable for couples or for families with teenage children (unsuitable for children under 13yrs old).

    Fishing, Cycling, Walking - something for everyone.

    Bailea is ideally located for leisurely walks onto Mynydd Illtyd with its National Park Visitor Centre or for the more demanding ascent of Pen y Fan and Cornddu (the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons). For those bringing bikes there are a huge number of cycle routes locally and most allow for a pub lunch en route! Alternatively, grab your rod and tackle and head down to the River Usk where fishing is available.
